This window was dedicated on Lay Sunday in October 1984 in loving memory of Kate Elizabeth Gadsden, her parents, Christopher and Alice Maude Buckmaster and her sister May Buckmaster. It depicts the arms of the ancient family of Buckmaster, granted in 1578 to William Buckmaster. Kate's husband, Allen Gadsden, and her daugher, Frances, travelled to Goddard and Gibbs Studios, Ltd. in London, England to plan the design of this window.
